Here is the Robert MItchum Channel. I have some Glenn Ford and John Wayne On the Drama and Comedy channels. The first post on my page is the channel guide. I don't upload many westerns - but a lot of people on here do.

John Wayne's macho acting is boorish and stupid...anyone who acts like that in real life would get his head handed to him.

Did you watch the same film as the rest of us? Or was John Wayne's part so small in One Minute to Zero that I actually missed his'boring' acting? Michael I'll let you into a closely guarded secret - all Hollywood action heroes overact and all of them if they acted in the same manner off set would get a good kicking from th first squaddie, matelot or bootneck they peed off.

At 75 and with a degree in Film Production, I have seen just about every film Wayne ever made. From the times when in his early twenties in all of those dime Westerns he made to those stupid films like "Big Jake"...do you know he always wore lifts in his shoes to make himself look bigger? Now he did make a few good films such as "The Quiet Man" but most film scholars laugh at his macho films. I am not talking about the man himself as he was well liked among his collegues but his films are ego boosters for himself. If it wasn't for John Ford, Wayne would never have gone anywhere. He was a horrible actor. He played the same character in all of his films. I understand the attraction that he has for those with a lower I.Q. but anyone with any sense does not seek out Wayne films. Because of the average intelligence of the American people, which sadly is very low, Wayne attracts many of that ilk. It's the same reason why someone like Trump can fool those same people and get elected. If it wasn't for you and those like you, the "Three Stooges" would never have seen the light of day. Enjoy your Wayne films, that's why they make vanilla and chocolate.

I assume that at 75 both your eye sight & manners are failing you. I did not say I liked John Wayne or his films. I object to your superior tone, just because you have a degree in film production. I unfortunately just have a degree in a proper subject which requires intelligence , study and hard work -Marine Engineering whereas your qualification appears to only require you to be verbose, cock sure and arrogant. I'm also not American so really don't have any interest in your opinions on the IQ of the American electorate or your President

Thank God I don't have to listen to that pedantic snob all the time, and may just enjoy the posted movies for the entertaining treats that they're supposed to be. Thanks a lot KR.
